Long Help	The Moose 2049 website has a directory of people and information that makes it easy to connect and more easily socialize with our fellow members and guests. Each member record can be seen updated by that member only after logging in. of couples that make links to which people belong to a couple. For every person in the people database, besides contact information, there are several attributes that help the website with categorizing how they relate to the club and their participation status. The main query page is accessible via the <B>Who</B> utility link in the solid background Navbar on the top and bottom of every page. The initial page has a top form which is a list of filters or attributes to search through the directory to get a listing of people meeting those filter criteria. At a minimum you can search by first and last name and depending on your role in the club and your access privilege will see other filters. Below the table which shows attributes or filters you can select and click one of the buttons to get specific presentations of the people that meet those filters (e.g. <B>List</B>, <B>List Partners</B>, etc). <P><B>The Filters</B></P> <UL> <LI>First Name : Self Explanatory.</LI> <LI>Last Name : Self Explanatory.</LI> <LI>Membership Progress : This describes a person in the path of becoming an active member and may be referred to as <I>Recruitment</I> in certain areas of the website. The main purpose of this is to allow the friendly people who like to do outreach to find those that either have not been contacted or who are interested to invite new prospects and ensureing different members do not keep calling someone who has declared that they are not interested in joining. <UL> <LI>Non-Member : Default entry of anyone who is entered in our system.</LI> <LI>Invited : Has attended a social and has been invited to join. (Normally this is a transient state to keep people from being contacted multiple times. This should rapidly shift to 'Current Member' or 'Not Now' or 'Not Interested')</LI> <LI>Not Now : Has been invited but is not ready to join right now, but may reconsider sometime in the future.</LI> <LI>Not Interested : Has been invited but is not interested in joining.</LI> <LI>Member: They have become a member (regardless if they are or not at the moment see Membership Status below).></LI> </UL> </LI> <LI>Membership Status: This tells us about out relationship status with a person/couple which affects both invitation to come to our social and the cost of attending a social (there is a discount for a person for the first time they are a guest (e.g. a <B>Prospect</B>) and once they have attended a social they become a <B>Guest</B> and pay a higher cost than members.). This is the focus of the membership director as they try to get more prospects into the database, get them to attend a social as a guest, and finally to join the club and become a Member. Once they become a Member, their progress towards membership does not change, only the Membership Status changes. <UL> <LI>Prospect: They are new to us, are in our database but have not attended a social.</LI> <LI>Guest: They have attended a social as a guest.</LI> <LI>Member: They have become a member (regardless if they are or not at the moment).></LI> </UL> </LI> <LI>Attended : Select a specific event and only those attendees will be listed.</LI> <LI>Sort By : How do you want the list of people meeting the filters sorted. Note: Sometimes the sort selection is overridden due to selection of other filters or functions (i.e. if you choose to sort the list by first name but select <B>List Partners</B> it will ignore your choice of first name.) </LI> </UL> <P><B>The Action Buttons</B></P> <UL> <LI>List : This is the default and presents all "Active" people.</LI> <LI>List All : This includes "InActive" people.</LI> <LI>List Partners : Present listing where both partners are on the same line.</LI> <LI>Address List (BOD Only) : Presents snail mail listing.</LI> <LI>Email List (BOD Only) : Presents email list.</LI> </UL> In each display many of the cell contents are web links that either "drill down" the query (e.g. add filters to refine you query) or link to specific information about the contents of that display cell.
